Kris Buckham first moved to the Philippines in 2008 as part of Deutsche Bank’s expansion of its shared service center, which was established in 2004. What was meant to be a short two-year posting turned into a 15-year chapter of his life — one that saw him build both a thriving career and a family in Manila.
Now based back in his hometown of Sydney, Kris continues to lead the business from Australia, supported by a strong and capable management team on the ground in the Philippines. His story is one of global leadership, long-term commitment, and cross-cultural collaboration.
